Do you have any information on a fretted White Stingray with maple neck B021860?

Hi Jim.
Records don't exist for the early Basses. I need to know if your Bass is an Ernie Ball or Pre-EB to give you some kind of idea when it was made as both these instruments used the "Bxxxxxx" serial numbers.
As said in another post above:
A Pre-EB Bass has 3 dot markers past the 12th fret and the string retainer is on the D&G strings. An EB (Ernie Ball) Bass has 4 dot markers past the 12th fret and the retainer is on the A&D strings. Some very early EB Basses don't have "Ernie Ball" on the headstock.
