so i was a lurker. i've hung around, read about a thousand threads, drooled over about a thousand EBMM basses, laughed, almost cried over some forum members health issues, saw the light-hearted jests, heard the man (BP) sound in, and now that i'm finally in the market for a new ax, decided to leave the shadows and step into the EBMM light.

greetings. and may i say, you guys have collected some HOT pieces of kit. i can't wait to acquire one of my own. until then... i will confess, i'm totally GASing and you all are totally to blame. thank you for ruining my life (sarcasm, sarcasm).

that is a good question, Anthony. i've loved every stingray i've played, so probably a 5er HS... that said, i've also loved every sterling i've played, and i have yet to play a 25th... Bongos are nice but not so readily available in the Boston area... and who can deny string mutes. i mean really!?!

i think i'm totally screwed.

Well hello Mr. Lurker, now you can't be a tourist all your life, can you?

Welcome onboard and share your wishlist with us. So... you are a bass player, what you fancy getting? Big Al, Bongo, Sterling, Stingray, Reflex, Silo bass?

Welcome. Yes, a Big Al 5 single H! Please feel free to drool over my signature, but don't forget to wipe off your computer's keyboard. Not enough dough didn't stop me, it shouldn't stop you. ;)

Admitting to being totally screwed is the first step to what you think is recovery.

Welcome to the party.... drinks are in the kitchen... coat room is to the left... BBQ out back and lots of Balls hanging around... and we're all Ok with that.

Enjoy the ride... you will own them all at one time or another... get attached to a few... swear you'll never sell them... proceed to sell them... buy a few more... regret some that you've sold... try another brand or two... kick self for doing so.... sell the other brands... buy a bunch more.... covett a few other forumites basses.... ask if you can buy them... buy them.... lust some more.... buy a new rig... ask the bank about mortgaging various body parts... get denied... sell the new rig... buy the newest item to lust after..... rinse and repeat.... then you will finally come to realize that EBMM makes the best basses in the world... they sound beautiful through anything... the people behind the instruments are also the best in the world... and these Knuckleheads aint such a bad group either!

ENJOY!!!!
