Hey guys, I recently ordered my first EBMM!!!
I've played a few before and I loved them all!
The one I ordered is a JP 6 BFR with the Ruby Red finish.
It's been two months and I don't know how much longer I can wait,
though they do say perfection takes time.
Any who, I just wanted to inform you guys of another (hopefully to stay for a long time) soon to be member of the EBMM family. :D

Once you hold it in your hands you'll know it was worth every second of waiting...it's being built just for you and it's gonna be perfect...thoughts like that usually cheer me up during the waiting game...as tmb posted getting another EBMM while waiting is quite an effective remedy, too...;)

Tell me about it.. I'm waiting for a BFR JP7 Bahama Blue Burst, and it's probably going to be a while. But I promise loads of pics when it arrives! ;)

Well, there really isn't an option, is there? Perhaps you could really bear down and dwell on it in a more serious manner to thoroughly aggravate yourself. Or call up your dealer and cancel the order and emphasize that you lack the tenacity and patience it takes to acquire said perfection.

On the other hand, why not relax and stop by the GCs or other music shops and play lots of entry level guitars. As well, pronounce to everyone within earshot that your Custom Special Ordered John Petrucci 6 is on it's way and sit back and watch the envy on their faces. This should help to pass the time. Maybe play a few rounds of golf or take that skiing vacation to Colorado.

:D

I've managed to pass the time by watching others here make NGD (new guitar day) announcements. Seeing what awesome stuff keeps coming out of EBMM made it that much easier for me to wait. You know it'll be worth it. Of course, looking at other Ruby Red BFR JPs in the Official BFR thread from Dargin is always good, too! :D

jamminjim; I work at an entry level guitar store, so I'm surrounded by them everyday.
JasonT; That's funny, I've been doing that since before I've been a member.

I kinda like the wait. It gives me something to look forward to....but I do have the advantage of having my other EBMMs to keep me busy.

I feel your pain, bro! I've been waiting a while, too. I need one of my 3 to arrive to soothe the GAS pains.

All I can say is this: When your Ruby Red Burst JP6 BFR finally arrives it will be like a revelation from the guitar gods. Congrats on the impending New Guitar Day and be sure to inundate us with plenty of pics of that beautiful guitar.

Did you order a flame top or quilt top? I'm partial to quilt, but I've seen some AMAZING flame tops coming out of the EBMM factory lately.

jamminjiim; It's quite alright. I figured it was either sarcasm or being rude. I took as sarcasm, it made me laugh. :)
bkrumme; I know that when it gets here I won't put it down for a while, I may have to in to school/work sick. :p
To answer your question, I got it with a quilt top. I've always loved how the quits look. I can definitely agree that there has been some amazing flame tops that have come out of the factory. :)
