Made my Stingray HH mimic a Precision

Well, I love my Rays, but at one time liked P basses(What haven't I liked???).
Since I'm playing some classic rock & pop, that tone would fit nicely, so after a few minutes of experimentation through my 210 combo, I found a very similar tone. I was using my HH Dargie II, and had the eq flat on my amp. I moved the selector to position 1 (neck pickup soloed), then (all from center detent), moved the highs up about 15 % (7 o'clock position), the mids up about 50% or the 9-10 o'clock position, the lows up about 25% (8 o'clock).


The sound works well, and the tone is amazing.

Very nice post RagingRog, there is absolutely nothing wrong with good old fashion P basses love, in fact variety being the spice of... I think no bass player home should be without one of them. It's were it all started after all thanks to Saint Leo

Thanks! I actually don't have one at the moment....have the other famous one Leo created under the F brand. They're great, but I can make my Stingrays do things they can't!

Just checked out your My Basses video...you have quite the collection. That mint colored P-- looks nice. I always see them going for $2000-$3000 on Ebay.

We also have love for that Markbass 210 combo...I love mine!
