I just got an update from Luke's Facebook page on my news feed....he said there is going to be an "Official Toto announcement today that will explain it all"....

Some possible shows with Paich and Steve P maybe?

Former members of Toto are reforming for a brief tour this summer in Europe to honor their brother Mike Porcaro who is living with ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). The line-up will include David Paich, Steve Lukather, Steve Porcaro, Simon Phillips, Joseph Williams and special guest, Nathan East.

Great that they are re-forming, but really sad/worrying news about MP.

Very sad that Mike P. has ALS. My heart goes out to him. My Uncle passed away with that disease. To see someone struggling with ALS first hand is hard to put into words.

So so sorry to hear about Mike. Wendy cared for her mother till the end who suffered with ALS so we completely understand the situation. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mike and his family. You da man Mike...we love ya brother.

Damn, my heart just drops whenever I hear of anyone suffering from this cruel disease. Kim's father was stricken with ALS 21 years ago. Thoughts and prayers for Mike and his family.

It's great that Toto is getting together for a brief tour, but I am saddened by the news about Mike Porcaro. His family has already had to deal with tragedy. Life's just not fair sometimes. Good vibes, thoughts, and prayers going out on his behalf.

I'm devastated to hear about Mike...one of my favourite bassists ever...he could play with such feel. I knew that health reasons kept him from touring with Toto for the band's last year or two...but ALS? Truly tragic. Thoughts and prayers on their way to Mike and family.

Sad to hear about Mikes condition. But I do hope (and i'm confident) they won't pass Holland on their tour. If they plan a gig over here, i'll be there.
