There hasn't been much activity or discussion on the JPX front lately, and I'm really getting antsy to receive mine. If anyone else is in the same boat, I'm here for you!

Have any of these made it into the wild yet? Is there anything I can do/say to convince EB to prioritize JPX orders? I make a mean pancake.

I'm patiently waiting for mine to arrive. The day I get the call from Pete D will be a happy day. Then the day I get another call from Pete D will be another happy day. Got a JPX 6 AND JPX 7 on the way.

I'm anxious to either receive mine or hear a sound clip of some kind.

I wonder if JP used his on the "Raw Dog" track they did for the God Of War 3 soundtrack.

As of yesterday our JPXs are a minimum of 4 weeks out (should ship in April), but we will be getting our first batch of HH ALs in the next 2-3 weeks!

less than a BFR, more than the standard. almost right in the middle between the two (not including the mystic dream paint job, its actually only slightly more than that)

They were ordered at the same time, but aren't likely to be arriving on the same day. I'd be thrilled if they were coming on the same day, but it's just not likely.

I realize that the initial sales of these jpx's will determine future availability, but do any of you guys that know think they will offer more colors? Some time later this year maybe?

I like the purple, but a stealth black, mystic dream, etc would be pretty cool with the new body shape.

Also, do you think the original jp body shape will eventually stop being made?

As far as we know, the JPX will be available for a while. Barolo is the only color right now, as you know, but there's always a possibility for other colors. That's really up to JP and Big Poppa.

Big Poppa has said that the original JP isn't going anywhere.

I've seen a lot of interest in this guitar around other forums. I'd say the only thing putting some people off is the color. If videos start popping up on YouTube with JP playing the X live, I have a feeling demand would increase sharply. Which then hopefully means it would be available longer, and in more colors.
