kimonostereo....... Way to go !! That is a sharp looking guitar.

I understand your thoughts on the EVH, but that guitar still deserves to be played. :D

Scott,

Glad it arrived safely and your pics are great, shows what a cool color it is and hope Hawiian humidity helps the fret sprout and that its not to bad, was very minor when I packed it up. MY Gold Roller is sufferingfrom it this winter.

Now about the string thing,OMG, thats embarrising:eek:, did not even notice I fubarred that up, was so intent on the locking nut and fine tuners I guess I did not pay attention to winding, but then again have not wound strings on a tuner in years:eek: And this was my first attempt at a floyd, oh well those exta strings I sent will come in handy:)

Yea formites the CFB sold it, I do think Axis are great now that I tried it, but I really wanted that BRF AL I got from Headstock so something had to go to make it work and I will play the BFR AL alot more than I would have the Axis, so as always it is a win win for everyone:D

Anyways enjoy the Axis and thanks again:)

Yeah I figured as much since I knew you switched all of your Balls to locking tuners. I didn't notice it until I looked at the pics LOL!

The fret sprout is slowly going away. It's nice and sunny so another day or two will bring her back to normal. I adjusted the neck today and she plays like buttah!

Ahhh I have the same guitar man! Bought it back in summertime 2010 @ GC in Roseville Cali. Plays amazing! However I wasn't aware that I'm 1 of only 40 potential owners... that's pretty insane I thought there would maybe be more like at least 100 made. How did you find out just 40?

I love sparkle/metal flake paint on guitars...and cars. My car has black metal flake paint similar to the Black Magic Crystal Axis. My black sugar axis is similar to the black magic, but has way less glitter. I'd prefer the black magic were it not for the roasted neck on the black sugar. The more glitter, the better.
