Is Maratha anything like Dargirie?

And you even edited for spelling....

Argghhhh!!!! It's my stupid laptop's fault, I swear. My hand always brushes against the touch pad and moves the cursor to a new location and I keep typing without realizing it. Another reason to stick to my desktops.

Gee, I hope I spelled DuBaldo correctly on the check I just mailed you. :D

Hopefully the Jersey show won't end up like it did on the last Maiden tour, there was a massive storm and those who got unlucky seats were drenched. :p

First of all, that was an epic storm for a Maiden concert...also, they let most of the people with lawn seats stand in between sections, so it wasn't that terrible for most people that went. I was lucky and I had seats to begin with

But more importantly, does anybody know when/where the Madison Square Garden tickets go on sale? I know it was officially announced, but both LiveNation and TicketMaster don't show the date for MSG. I can't make the Holmdel show, so I really need to get tickets for MSG as soon as they go on sale

I'm happy to report that DT gave an spectacular show last night.

Besides that, there was pretty of BFR eye candy, and as I expected John pulled out a great performance, he is truly a gifted musician. Also the JPX is INSANE looking, I was pretty close to the stage and it is a magnificent instrument.

I need to order a BFR and a JPX ASAP! :D

Oh trust me I know that was a perfect storm for the Maiden concert :D. I just felt bad for those unlucky people.

I believe I heard something around two weeks for the ticket sales. Don't quote me on it though.

Did he use a few JPX's for his different tunings or was it the JPX and regular BFRs?
He used it in what I think it was standard tuning. Since he played Erotomania, Voices and The Count of Tuscany with it. I could be wrong tho.

Oh ok, so I guess he didn't replace all his BFRs with JPXs. I was hoping to see some cool one-offs haha. I watched a video of Hollow Years on Youtube of him using it from the show, sounds great!

I first saw Maiden at Hammersmith Odeon on the Number of The Beast tour about 27 years ago. Damn I'm old....:)

Also to clarify DT did perform the whole of Number of The Beast in London as well on the second of the two nights they did at the Astoria on the Six Degrees tour. I was there both nights. Probably my favourite two DT shows thus far.

They also did all of The Dark Side Of The Moon at Hammersmith Odeon with Theresa Thompson joining them for both Spirit Carries On and Great Gig In The Sky. Another very special evening.

They've also done Metallica's Master Of Puppets (in Spain I think) and Purple's Made In Japan (in Japan strangely!)

Just hope we get them doing Permanent Waves as some point (in London please). That'll do me! :D

That's show was recorded and released as the 2 disc set "Beast Over Hammersmith" as part of the limited edition Eddie's Archive boxset. It's my favorite live Maiden album, it smokes Live After Death IMO. Bruce's voice is unreal on that recording.

Damn, you beat me on this ! The first time I saw Iron Maiden, it was in Paris in 1984.

But I have seen Metallica in February 1984 ... their first shows in Europe (they opened for Venom).
