JP6 Pic Request (1st Post)

I'm currently in the planning phase towards an EBMM JP6. I've been lurking this forum for almost 2 years now and now that I'm starting to make steps towards this guitar, I felt that it was time to become a 'forumite'

So the basic question: Is there any good pics of Sapphire Black, Pearl White, Pearl Redburst, Pearl Blue? The pictures on the Music-Man site are nice to get an idea of whats going on but I feel that those pics don't do the guitar justice.

And one more additional question: How does the Stealth Black JP6 feel? Does the texture feel matte or is it just its looks.

Currently I'm considering Pearl Redburst and White but the more I look at Stealth Black the more I seem to like it more.

Incidentally - you into Zippos? If so keep your eyes peeled for the Musicman Zippo lighter that sometimes appears on e bay. I managed to snag one for under 10 bucks thanks to knucklehead Travs.

I dont currently have a pic of mine but I have a 2008 pearl white JP6 loaded.

The color of the finish looks to be a very tasteful off-white with a hint of sparkle in it. I definitely liked it better than the straight white paint.

Wow, Fast replies! Thanks for the link Browndog, I've actually checked that link before its pretty helpful. If I'm looking at it correctly, the Sapphire Black is just a black with sparkle? The picture there is kind of dark. How does the Sapphire Black color compare to the Black Magic Sparkle limited edition I believe the Axis had?

Oh, and Fogman, I'll be sure to bump this up in a couple of hours from now also.

Sapphire Black & Black Magic are defiantly two different colours. I’m only going by the pics but the BMC seems to have more colours in the sparkle and is lighter in colour.

:O How come there aren't many Sapphire Black JP6s around? It looks amazing! Fogman, Red Pearl Burst looks absolutely incredible in those pics too. Now what is the difference between the White and the Pearl White? Does the Pearl White have some sparkles or flakes on it? Its a little bit hard to tell.

This decision looks to be harder than I thought, so many great colors. I should just buy them all, that would make EBMM happy haha.

Sapphire Black is absolutely AMAZING in person! Some of those pics are a good representation. I think that's the way to go out of these choices. Then again I am biased as I have something in Sapphire Black coming to me in a little while .

Well I've got a number of Sapphire Black JP pics so they are around.
It's one of my favorite colours. If you don't see much of them around it's either because EBMM has been offering so many more new things in the last few years that people are purchasing other colours and such. Not to mention BFRs. The other reason why you may not see too many in this colour is that the guitars are pretty much made to order. Most dealers are conservative when ordering and may opt for black, white....

Red Pearl Burst is a great colour. I'd guess that there are more JPs in the colour than any other. Probably rivalled by Mystic Dream.

White is opaque where as Pearl White has a slight sparkle in the paint.

Yes, buy them all. Then you and ernie1966 will be in the same category!
