I just put up a teaser for my upcoming Big Al 5 review. This is mostly me wanking off with a loop pedal. The actual review will be full of fun facts, and a bunch of me yakking about how cool the bass is. This is just self-indulgent blowing. The bass sounds freakin' awesome!

(sigh)

Jeez, that Big AL sounds so flippin' good... Looking forward to the full review, (as my wife cringes and hides the checkbook.)

Terrific, inspiring playing, as usual!

Ed, that was just fantastic, awesome!

I love Jazz, and this Your jazzy improvisations are sooo great that I'm gonna watch this video many more times for sure!

What to say according to the excellent tone of this wonderful musical instrument, ...Big Al and this triple S pickup configuration are really incredible combination! :)

Great job Ed, great job EBMM factory! ;)

Excellent "wanking"!

That sounds fantastic!...I can't wait for the full review.

This reminds me of the time a british presenter called Jonathan Ross interviewed the London Chief of Police, Sir. Paul Condon - (yes that is his real name check it out Paul Condon, Baron Condon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia )

Anyway Jonathan Ross happens to have a speech impediment called the soft R whereas all his R's are pwonounced as aww's

He told Sir Paul Condon this:

"Tell me Sir, you are a high ranking policeman, and you failed to detect... whatever whatever..."

but ranking came out ..... wanking and you should have seen the copper's face going from cool to rage. LOL that was a TV classic moment, I'll never forget!

WOW!

Waiting for my Big Al 5 single H to arrive may be the longest wait I've ever experienced... :(

Thank you, Ed, for adding to my anxiety. ;)

OH-MY-GOD. I better check my Depends...

That is some awesome playing Ed. You are so musical in your bass playing. I wish I started playing bass when I was younger instead of in my 40's because I will be an old, old man before I could ever play like that.

I can see how the Big Al is so well suited to Jazz. The notes are so crisp and clean sounding. Beautiful!

...because I will be an old, old man before I could ever play like that.

It took me until I was an old, old man to be able to play like that! Thanks.

I don't remember the exact settings I used on the second piece.... I'm thinking it might have all been the bridge pickup in active.
