Andy, love that color man!!!

Haven't seen too many red sparkle Silo Specials, gotta be a rare color.

Glenn |B)

Never seen another one & I'm sorry I sold it.....especially nice colour out in the sun. Some guy in Italy is enjoying it now, I hope.

Took it out to the BluesJam last night.....played & sounded great, even through the 15 watt Roland transistor amp I was obliged to plug it into. The "wow" factor was absolutely huge from everyone who saw it.....especially the girls......sadly , as we all know, a lust for the guitar rarely translates into a lust for its owner so I remain a virgin!!

Looks good. Was it an easy swap?

Not QUITE as easy as I'd hoped. I bought the P/U assembly pre-soldered and had hoped just to unscrew the existing jack socket and drop in the new assembly. Sadly (for this particular operation) the jack socket hole doesn't run all the way into the control cavity, so the existing jack socket needed to be unsoldered and the new one soldered on, plus disconnecting the battery box and connecting an earth.
For most normal men this would be 2 minutes work, but I now have a golden rule (from MANY bitter experiences)of never doing ANYTHING myself that I can get a proper man to do for me (wanna hear about the time I tried to install a cat flap and ended up springing for a new back door????)
Anyway, after a trip to my local music store (thank you ArcoIris) and 10 euros changing hands, all was well.
Nothing that can't be easily reversed when it is pried from my cold dead hands and passed on to its next owner,
