JP6 Schaller Locking Tuners Question

Has anyone ever took theirs off before? Does it have a pin on the underside that stabilizes the tuner? I love these tuners and want to put them on some of my guitars that have Grovers and I need to know if it will be an exact replacement or if I'm going to have to drill a hole

Mines in bits at the mo. Just took a tuner off and there is no pin underneath.
