White SR4 Classic Deluxe maple birdseye in Murrieta, CA GC

Beautiful finish. My wife called it "nougat". I agree.

Anyhoo, it has a gorgeous glossy birdseye neck, white pg and pup.

It is still cherry so I hung it up in the highest row of hooks to keep it pretty.

They also have a mint green Classic SR4 with RW fb.

Bass Central has pics posted on their site when I checked today. I emailed them to verify what they actually have in hand.

The Perfect Bass is also advertising that they have them in stock. I emailed them as well to verify which ones they have in hand.

It's a white classic deluxe. I don't think anyone said they saw one with the exact same options as the one in Murrieta.

I think GC has a chain-exclusive color scheme, "ivory." The stores in San Bernardino and Rancho Cucamonga also have the basses with the white pickguard/pickup cover scheme.

FWIW - one of my local GC's has 2 versions of these basses that are NOT listed on the EBMM website.

1.) The previous talked about version with the 'current' neck (i.e. non lacquered, comp nut, etc), white, white pg, white pup cover, 2band.
2.) A deluxe model with a matching headstock. I played it yesterday. It was white, white pg, white pickup cover, maple lacquered neck and white headstock.

AFAIK, non of the classic series has a matching headstock option, so I can only assume this is another GC exclusive. Not to mention, at $1900 +/-, it was not in line with the Classic 4 pricing ($1799).

Apparently GC has been receiving color combos which are not covered by the build codes released for other dealers. Like the white white white SR4 for example. There was a shell pink SR4 reported even. That one is NOT on the official list of available colors at the moment.

The Ivory White is GC exclusive. We are bringing some finishes like Shell Pink to the Dallas Guitar show, and instead of just ordering one we did a handful of each.

Hang on to your hats boys....there is a Lake Placid Blue one at the GC in Raleigh, NC! Beautiful Birdseye neck and Rosewood board. Sounded frigging awesome through an SWR Redhead they had. I managed to take a couple of pics and will upload when I get in. Using my Droid at the moment. I even got a pic of the hang tag that clearly says LPB just in case someone thinks I am nuts. They also had a black/maple. Classic as well that was sweet. The LPB would get the nod if I were going to buy one. I have my buddy looking for me a Big Al while I wait for the Classic to be released in Natural....
