Plus think through saying that there are many companies that sell what I sell and it didnt stop me....Strings...year started selling 1962.......nobody else was selling prepackaged sets with light strings and plain thirds.....picks 1964....nobody sold pics in any colors but Shell....my dad wanted a white one. The rest is history. T shirts 1971 nobody had them....website we were the first company in the music industry with a web site......guitars and basses 1984...after many ups and downs Music Man is now known as more than just a bass company.

I am motivated by opportunity that is product driven I am motivated for available hooks on the retailers walls. WE have to fight for our lives to get our electrics on the wall...how receptive would the retailers be to adding our acoustics when we cant get them to buy our electrics? Plus the MILLIONs of dollars of investment would be taking capital away from funding our initiatives and growth in electrics. We arent made of money.

I hope that answers your questions....
Thx Big Poppa. Tough i am not the thread starter, but the explanation answers all the questions i have in mind regarding this why-not-acoustic things.

I just want to say that I am extremely disappointed that no one has photoshopped a 4+2 Headstock on an acoustic guitar yet.
