Beaver from Bass Central started the order yesterday. I completed it this a.m. by paying. Informed me I should have it by the weekend!

I'll post pics when it arrives, if anyone is interested. It's just a plain Jane, white, tort pg, maple fb. I'm simple and 'old school' like that! Nothing flashy or fancy like the GC specials. :)

Congratulations, rappa29!

Classic look for sure. There's two nice basses on the way to the Tampa Bay area; yours and mine.

Hey, PM me! Come out to a gig! Since I play full-time it may be easier for you to come to one of my gigs than vice-versa.

Picked it up from UPS today. It's on my desk here at work so I can't spend any time taking or posting pics decent. Initial impression...it looks SWEET!

It truly looks more 'vintage white' in person. Like a bass that Bernard Edwards might have stored in his closet and forgot about, only to be discovered today! :)

I REALLY LIKE the lacquer on the neck.

I might try to sneak into an office and play it a bit during lunch or take pics with my Droid.

This is the best I could do, real quick, from work using my cell phone.

Again, the camera and fluorescent lighting washes out the richness in the true color of the neck and body. It looks Olympic White in the photos, but in person is more Vintage\Classic White.

I'll post better pics over the weekend.

Haven't checked in since I took those crappy pics. Been playing and tweaking the setup on the bass! :)

I was torn between powder blue vs everything else, but decided on classic white after seeing pics of the powder blue from someone who has one. Decided it wasn't what I expected. Although, as I've learned, pics may be deceiving.

After comparing pics of my bass, both my own and from EBMM site and BC site, vs how it looks in person, the pics definitely do not accurately represent the true color of my bass.

I'm not so good at taking bass pics, but I'll try to get some better ones this week. Especially of the neck.

I did some half arsed, solo, A\B recordings for my 3band vs my new classic last weekend! Although, they're not really worth posting (noisy, sloppy playing). I have plans to make good A\B recordings in the future once I get the Classic setup to my preferences and broken in some.

I played\recorded it too over the weekend, jamming with some friends and it sounded great! Played it through my old school, GK400RB and an AmpegSVT410HLF. I have some recordings from that jam session made via my Yamaha pocketrecorder. Maybe I'll post a bit of those once I edit out all the wankery! lol!

Overall though, I'm very happy with the bass!:D
