Pickup cover question - new order, White pups?

Hi everyone,

Can you order a Classic Series 4 in White with White pup covers or is it fixed with the classics?

Also, can I order a new HS Ray 5 with White pup covers?

Nope, not unless they've changed their policy. Only white pup covers on the single H. Correct me if I'm wrong...

I am not sure which color pickup the Classic White SR4 comes with but you can order a white cover direct from EB as well as replacement pickguards. I currently have a white pickup cover and pickguard on my 30th Anni. Ray. JOSH

My understanding with the new Classic Series is that you can order either a white or black pickup cover. If this is incorrect someone please say so.

As fo the HS, as mentioned above, white is not available.

I don't believe you have a choice of pickup cover with the classic series. Heck, I don't even think you have a choice of pickguard color.


You get a white pickup with mint green (white pickguard), coral red (white pickguard), and powder blue (tort pickguard).

You get a black pickup with black (black pickguard), tobacco burst (black pickguard), and white (tort pickguard).

Of course, you could replace the pickup cover on the four strings if you wanted something different, but not on the five strings.

You are correct monkeee. I checked with my dealer who confirmed that the pickup cover colour is predetermined by the factory.

When I ordered my Classic SR5 back in January, I told my dealer how I wanted it configured including the p/u cover colour. They in turn confirmed back to me that it had been ordered as I had requested. So I assumed you could specify the p/u cover colour. We now know otherwise.

Any other configurations will be black only.
