Has anyone measured the fret width and height of a new StingRay classic?
My '77 has tiny frets (0.075" wide x 0.0315" high).
I'm stalling on a purchase, I know, I know...
But I have to get a classic soon, (need to retire the 77).
I just can't decide on a damn color!

Thank you Sir!

Wow that is very close.
The width is dead on and, if you figure in the thickness of the lacquer finish on the fretboard, I'd say same with the height.
That means the neck is going to be real comfortable to play.
I prefer the lacquer finish also, and a StingRay always balances nice.

Now for color....hmmm..

If you love white, just think how awesome the natural with tort guard would look, with either that fancy birdseye or flamed maple neck. That white paint is covering up some lucious wood grain. It demands to be seen!
