New Cherry Burst BFR Day!!

It wasn't supposed to show up until Friday but alas, the girl is here this morning and what a beaut!!! Here are some quick shots I took with my phone. Will post better pics this weekend with my real camera!! The quilt finish is absolutely gorgeous in person!!! Smiling from ear to ear!!

Hey Phil, I only got about 10 minutes on my lunch break when I ran home real quick and it sounds great and was set up to play right out of the box. I can't get over the finish, absolutely stunning in person. I was a little scared at first because when I switched over to full piezo it was cutting in and out if I strummed a little hard, but when I checked the screws on the back everything was turned all the way up! So I backed it all off and everything was good again!

I'm suprised the pics came out as good as they did with the iPhone. I'm sure I can get some better ones this weekend with the real camera!

I don't want to start a new thread about this, and hey someone might have already answered me but I forgot: What's with the black stripe? Is it where the wood's "put together" or something? That's my only real complaint with the finish.

Good question, I personally am not sure, but would be interested to find out as well. I like it!

Complaint? man thats one of the things that sets it over the top, it is not a binding but a piece of veneer between the body and maple cap if i remeber what BP said correctly, I think it looks awesome would love to see a luke done in this color like that.:)
