After years of sporadically borrowing my various SRs, my buddy finally bit the bullet. I feel like a proud father. He graciously allowed me to take it out for a gig, it was noticably lighter than my ash-bodied '99, but still had that classic sound. The picture is my buddy playing the bass at a recent gig.

A recording studio owner/guitarist that I know is considering purchasing a Bongo 4 HSp that he saw at a local Guitar Center for his recording studio. I offered to meet him at GC and to "test drive" it for him. Since I've never tried a piezo equipped Bongo this should be interesting.

There will be another convert!

I have this feeling you're gonna' love the piezo... I've found that 10%-20% piezo puts the razor's edge definition on the tone... it's just sweet!
