If this has been posted already, I must have missed it.

I found this today by accident. I was just looking to price a regular Scorpion head......

If there are any Blues Saraceno fans out there, you know the tone he got out of the Dirty Boy amp.

Dirty Boy

Now, how to get the $3k by April 30th !?!?

You're not kidding!

If you haven't already, go to BluesSaraceno.com and link to the Dirty Boy pedals. Pure insanity in those little boxes.

Not sure why price is so high, I'm sure it took a long time to develop.

It's definitely a neat amp. Blues played it at the Desert bash the other year, got a chance to hear him crank it up close. Would adjust the amp as he was playing, sounds phenomenal.

I remember talking with Guy Hedrick (brilliant amp designer, of Guytron fame) about it- he helped Alex Saraceno get the power scaling working on the original design. Sounds pretty wild.

A lot of money, for sure. But a very unique amp.

I would LOVE to have that amp!

A tonal Chamelion at any volume, with all the adjustable feel

is worth every penny IMO. I ain't got the pennies right now, lol.

I wish they weren't putting the pressure on with the price increase,

but thats business. Does this thing have the 5 transformers or is that the

original design that does I wonder. Guytrons are amazing too. This amp really

Appeals to me more, despite the "dirty boy" moniker, lol.

Wow... I'd love to play one just to see if i liked it.

In my experiences so far, I tend to prefer a more basic amp circuit and sound... But hey.. I'm all for outrageous/experimental stuff, pushing design boundaries etc. Can't wait to see and hear more. :)

There yah go!!! ....You get it Beej!!! ....He also uses NOS parts he gets from old Italian Keyboards to get the magic....also if you go to the Dirtyboy website ...you will hear Blues explain WHY the pedals...it was so he didnt have to lug HUGE amps ...he gets his tones from the boxes...AS DO I ....My balls provide the blank canvas and my Board adds the color....

Awesome board Lonney, Its worth more than my last car.

As for the amp... way to much $$$

Well i have pretty much 5 grand into the board...and i run it stereo in to the 1977 Super and into a 2003 Maple cabbed Hot Rod Deluxe Special Edition with a Jensen C12N Speaker and into a Zinky 2x12 cab....it sounds HUGE when we play live ...and sooooo pretty Especially when i use the Piezo Luke!!!

His father is building those amps. He's been asked too many times for serial production from different brands, but he refused them all.

Huh? The new ones are being made by Mojave, not by Alex Saraceno. His dad built the original ones (long ago).
