Well after receiving my new to me Black and Maple SR4 today, I decided it was time to take some photos of my growing family of EBMM basses. Since buying my first EBMM bass in early 2006 (my Trans Orange SR5), I have discovered that these are the basses for me. No other maker of bass guitars inspires me to play the way these basses do. I am truly lucky to have 4 of these now and cannot rave enough about them.

So here they are in my attempt to use some natural light on a cloudy day to capture the glory of Transparent Orange, Black Cherry Burst, True Gold and Black on Black:

Lefty SR4 goodness!!! The Black Cherry rocks...I think to add one to my Ball collection!

Beautiful selection you have there!

Beautiful collection and nice pics even though all the images are reversed.

It's okay, though, I used a mirror to view the pics... I'm serious.

Thanks guys. I never thought I would want a maple fingerboard but it really is a joy to play. I haven't compared the two SR4's yet as I just bought the black one today but the moment I picked it up, I knew it was a keeper!

I just installed 1200 square feet of new flooring in my house and it really does make a nice backdrop for bass photos.

If I keep this up I may be able to apply for a low level management position in Lefthanzia! :)

i do believe you may have a problem with your basses, allthough they seem to be in great condition, someone for some reason has built them all backwards.

Beautiful photographs and really nice collection !

Quite the same for me: tested a Bongo in a local music shop and now have 3 EBMM basses.
I also converted a few friends of mine.
Hope to add a fretless Stingray soon or maybe a Big Al or Reflex.

Thanks for sharing,

Well the Trans Orange Ray5 was my first EBMM and it still holds the number one position for me. I have to say though, I feel so at home on a 4 string Ray that I do tend to play the Black Cherry one a bit more. The Bongo was new at Christmas time and I haven't spent enough time with it yet to really feel at home with her. But having said that, the Bongo is the most effortless of them all to play, is the most ergomically correct bass I have ever held, its fairly light and has such a mid focused snarl to it that I get get goose bumps playing her.

They really are perfect in my opinion!

Wow! Those are some sweet colors. I love Trans Orange it became my favorite finish as soon as I saw it. Beautiful indeed...

I actually find it hard to look at left handed basses and guitars. I can feel a strain in my eyes as if they are trying to reverse the image.
