How nice is that, that the CEO/Owner not only takes the time to read something but also act on the request without hesitation. When my Mother-in law had breast cancer a few years ago, they gave her one of those bad fitting wigs & you could see she was upset by it.

So I told my Wife that I was going out but would be back shortly, popped into the barber's & had all my hair shaved off. Went back told the M.I.L that people would look more at me than her. Biggest shock was finding out that my head was not perfectly round.

We can do it for you.

There are so many reasons why I've been a company man for a long time.

There's another one.

Jason, it's hard to find a family that has not been touched in some way by cancer. I know ours has. We will be keeping you in our thoughts and hoping for the best possible outcome.

OK I prefer to do these things under the radar...many of you know this it isnt bs.
but here is the deal.....

I will donate the cost of the bass and all profit to breast cancer. Jay if there is a locdal charity that you feel a connection to let us know.

Now the Challenge!

I am challenging a music man dealer to donate his profits to the same charity.
This is a primer for good vibes and a positive outcome.

Also when you do your walk let us know and I will sponsor ytou and encourage the knucks to get behind it too.

Again please....I am not doing this for ego trust me...any good thoughts you may have from this gesture please direct to Jaydawg and his wife. Im ok...They need it.

Oh wow! Thank you Mr. Ball. I contacted Bass Central and will be going through them. One of the guys said he would call your company today. As soon as I here back on the price of the bass, I will secure the funds and pay for it.

We are doing the relay for life on June 11th. I guess that would be the best local charity to donate to.

Here is the link.

Again Mr. Ball and anyone else who donate, thank you from the bottom of my heart! My wife and I are very moved by your gestures of kindness!

I don't have much to spare these days, but let me know how I can pledge for your walk. The people here have been amazing to me and I would love to be able to give back too. Brain cancer aawareness week is coming up pretty soon. Its time to find me some grey ribbons.

Once again BP, one of the reasons I buy so many other than they play and sound great and people who know me look at me funny when I have another brand.

Great job BP, let's see what can be done with this!

Just gave what I could, I know it isn't much but hopefully it will help push the next phase of treatment for someone. Let me know if there is anything I can do personally. I would love to be able to help.

We have been a long time supporter of ACS. I wish I had seen this post earlier, we would have been happy to help out. Glad that BC came through for you though! Prayers for your wife on the way JayDawg! We will be participating with Relay this year I'm sure... :)

Peace!

The last year has been very stressful for my wife and I but God has been good to us... I am a Christian pastor and I was telling another friend that with everything that has happened, I have felt like Job from the Old Testament. Still though God has been good...I said I was looking at it as a gift from God that we discovered the lump fairly early on that day because who knows how much worse it could have been had it been caught later. We have also been blessed in that the doctor said the lump was pretty centralized in her breast and he does not think the cancer has spread...

Amen!

Here's the "looking heaven-ward" smilie:

WOW!! I just read this thread, and I'm just amazed how BP and Ernie Ball is great!

I'm from montreal, and I've been giving time for breast cancer in the past 3 years now. Here in Canada, we have the "Weekend to end woman's cancers" that organize every year a big weekend in different cities... about 3000 mans and womans will walk 60 km in montreal during this weekend. I'm not walking, but I'm on my bike doing security. On the saturday night, all walkers and staff sleep in a huge park, in a tent village... It's pretty amazing! And for this year, I will be on stage with my band entertaining everybody for 2 hours of dancing. I'll be even more proud to play my musicman bass knowing that Ernie Ball compagny and Mrs. Sterling Ball itself endorse the cause like this!

It makes me VERY proud to own such a bass, coming from such a great Compagny!

All of my positive thoughts is for you and your familly JayDawg...

Thanks BP!
Vincent
PS: here is the official site for this weekend... Weekend to End Women's Cancers
