So, after mucho deliberation and lots of tooling around the interwebs I finally pulled the trigger on a new MM! Thanks to the wonderful folks that regularly post here, I found a lead on a 20th Anniversary Silhouette - Rosewood board, hardtail, matching headstock, and really sh***y flame top ;) - and absolutely could not pass it up. It's hitting the road with UPS tomorrow and I should have it in a few days. I'M WAY STOKED RIGHT NOW!! As we all know, with no pics it doesn't exist, so I'll post some as soon as it arrives. :D Cheers!

Sounds like a winner to me. Here is a picture of your guitar's twin brother to tide you over. ;)

They really are beautiful axes and I have also been on the hunt for one myself. Right now I am looking to unload some gear in the next two months and replace it with some EBMM guitars I want bad.lol I figured this would be the best route to go as I have way to many guitars I dont play and very little room.

Hey Roubster do you ever go to Maggio Music on 84th and 18th? I remember you said you were from the Ridge so I was wondering.

Just got the UPS tracking info... It's being sent 2nd Day Air, so I should have it Monday or Tuesday. I don't know if I can wait that long! haha

Thanks! And congrats on the Luke! I freaking love mine, dude. It's been a work horse for me. I'm really curious about the finish you'll have on yours...I'm sure it'll be awesome. Kinda wish I had looked at other finishes before I went with Black. Cabernet Pearl, perhaps? Hmm... Maybe that could be my #3... Oh God, I can stop! I'm addicted! :D

Sapphire Black on mine dude. I wish Cabernet Pearl was still available, but unfortunately it is discontinued. Olive Gold was also amazing on the LUKE. But Sapphire Black looks freakin awesome as well. Maybe some new colors will surface this year...Lake Placid Blue looks like its meant for the LUKE hehehe.

I totally agree with you about the Lake Placid Blue. :) That's a bummer about the Cabernet Pearl being discontinued. I didn't know it was unavailable now. Oh well, maybe a used one will turn up one day. In the meantime, I think when my G.A.S. flares up again I'll probably go with an ASS. I'm thinking flamed Honey Burst...I absolutely love that finish. Besides, it's good to have variety in a guitar collection, right? haha
