Just got my Bongo 6 HH in Pearl Blue, thought I'd share!:D

P.S. So can I be a Bongoloid now?

When you're a Bongoloid,
You're a Bongoloid all the way
From your first trembling order
To your last dyin' day.

When you're a Bongoloid,
If the spit hits the fan,
You got brothers around,
You're a company man!

You're never alone,
You're never disconnected!
You're home with your own:
When company's expected,
You're well protected!

Then you are sick
With a capital S,
Which you'll never forget
Till they cart you away.
When you're a Bongoloid,
You stay a Bongoloid!

And for the record, this is the most amazing instrument I've ever played!

Also, am I the only one that thinks that streaking in the fretboard is gorgeous?

My friend tells me its way overkill for my first EBMM. I tell him what I tell everyone else that bashes 6 string basses: If a guitar can have 6, then so can a bass!:p

I immediately noticed that fretboard! I like rosewood fretboards with the color variations...very nice!

Congratulations!

Why is it that I crave another Bongo? :D I'm loving this thing! One question though - Does the Bongo ever dig into your leg while sitting and playing? Mine's giving me a bruise lol

Mine doesn't dig into my leg. No bruises either.

I have found that after playing sitting down for a while, the Bongo 6 can do that. Might have something to do with the larger body weight. Great bass, though, and great fingerboard! :D

Makes me wonder... has anyone experimented with stringing up a Bongo 5 as E-A-D-G-C?
