Subverting the Local Cops (Sterling by MM style)

I have been trying for years to get my pal Dennis to get himself a Music Man.

Dennis is a rather large and impressive local policeman who stops by frequently to talk bass and he's actually appeared at a couple of bass-fests here at Camp Bovine.

He's loved my Bongos, my SR5s and was wowed by the Big Al 5 but with a slew of kids and a cop's salary, he's found it hard to spend the bucks.

He and I plotted and analyzed and so forth and he is now the proud owner of a Ray35, Sterling by Music Man! Damned fine bass. Plays like a mighty nice Stingray 5 and his wife didn't kill him for spending the money.

I'll get photos one of these days, but I'm just happy to report another convert.

Way to bring him on board! The SBMM series are great basses. I have a Ray34, and after I got my Stingray I originally decided to sell it since I figured I had a real 'ray, but after a sick day this past week and playing it for a while, I realized it's just too good of a bass to lose. It has that lasting power like a real EBMM bass seems to have! Now to get myself a Ray35 like Dennis just bought (unless I miraculously can swing a SR5)!!
