Hello to all, I'm new here today.

I just picked up a Musicman Stingray 4 string.

I would like to know if anyone could help me with some info on it.

1) serial # E07512 -What year/month was it made?

2) it has one 9 volt battery and 4 control knobs, with the guitar 1/4" output is on the edge of the bass. Could some one tell me the knob configuration?

any help would be great. Thanks

There is a thread on this here forum on which you post your serial number and a nice lady called aziah will respond to you with your bass date of birth. follow this link: http://www.ernieball.com/forums/music-man-basses/1254-music-man-serial-number-database.html

The knobs are: Volume / Treble / Mids / Bass judging from that pics the pickup is not original as it doesn't show any pickup poles unless these have been covered by black tape, I can't tell from the pic as it's too small.
