I thought about buying it a few times in beginning of this year. It has an uncommon MH and I think it looks really cool in white with a maple board. GC Hollywood had it there for a while now and they have dropped the price a few months ago from $699.99 to the current price. It's a shame, they seem like really cool looking and playing guitars.

Slav:)

Man has this guitar been around... it was on the LA area Craigslist for weeks for $500 and no one bought it, and on New Years Eve I found it in Guitar Center Hollywood for $649. It was a little overpriced, but I got them to throw in a gig bag on the deal and I took it home.

The guitar was really dirty (most of the finish on the back is worn off, severe buckle rash) but like I said it was a GREAT player and sounded awesome so I got it. I cleaned it up really well and put fresh strings on it. Over the next two weeks I didn't really bond with it as much as I would've liked... mainly because the guitar was a little brighter than I would've liked. So I returned it and bought a Black Cherry Burst ASS on here for about $800.

I like the idea of slapping an EMG (or two) in there. Why not customize it and make it totally unique?

Maybe you don't care for the sound, but I bet you will admit that the neck is great! You can always change the sound of the guitar by modding the pickups, but you can't really change the playability. MM necks simply cannot be beat.

Oh yeah, and after you make your mods, post some pics. ;)

It would look awesome if there was a single pickup rear routed single pup version with no scratchplate obvious. It would have looked sleek as hell. Think the silo bass with a single pup that woulda been mean looking.

Yeah, the other guy was thinking about putting in EMGs to make it more /m\etal! Sounds like a pretty good idea to me.

I'm still really torn on wether to keep it & customize, or to buy a new guitar. I'm starting to feel sentimental about it......

If you're on the fence about keeping the guitar and customizing it, ask yourself "How does this guitar feel in my hands"? If it is more comfortable, well balanced, and easier to play than other guitars you've tried, then perhaps a simple pup switch would get you to the tone you're after, without having to give up a guitar you are growing sentimental (or "semi-mental" for most of us knuckleheads) about.

If the overall feel of the guitar isn't doing it for you, you're probably better off selling.
