What string do you use? Are you ordering the singles to make the custom set or just using the 10's??

I have to ask, what does the P after the 10,13,16 mean? and what does the W after the 24,36,46 mean?

I'm going to need new strings soon and was thinking about the reinforced or coated stings for the HH AL.

I'm guessing P means "plain" and W means "wound". So a Slinky or super slinky set would have wound E A D and plain G B e for standard tuned guitars.

Do'h, How'd that fly over my head?

I saw they do have wound G strings so you might be on to something. They don't put those suffix on the regular slinky, only on RPS stuff from what I can see.

Hey look it's the CINC of the ALOC!!!!!

The guitar is set up from the factory for a 10, 13, 16, 26, 36, 46 set. That is almost identical to a 10-46 set but uses a 16 instead of 17 for the G (plain). You will have no problems using a 10g set instead of ordering custom singles.

I like the 10's but will probably switch to Coated Slinky 9's when it's time to change 'em. I really like them on my Pinky Al.

Albert kindly gave me a set of strings and although I have used the strings I still have the packaging.
The packaging says RPS 10 RPS 13 RPS 16 custom gauge 26 custom gauge36 and custom gauge 46.

I use 9's

Come on guys, just because the gage is one mil thinner... and it comes in pink packaging, let's not be afraid to admit our love for Super Slinkys!

Hello, my name is Eric and I use 9s on all my electric guitars.

What about us "fence-straddlers"? By that I mean Hybrid Slinkys (.009-46)?

I've been hooked on 'em for over 10 years...
