I know what you mean. I keep a cheap fretless around just so I don't keep making the same mistake over and over again. No EBMM fretless basses until I learn to play that one decently. I may jump in the 5 string pool again this year.

+1 Although a Big Al Fretless is on the GAS list I made myself the same promise... No EBMM Fretless untill I can get my de-fretted el cheapo sounding good!

Ive gotten a couple before with similar issues. These are easy fixes!!
