Ok, here are the pictures of my new baby, just off the UPS truck today. Brand new; love that new guitar smell. :)

Kind of a cool top; not totally classic quilt, but really tight, like a flamey quilt kind of. It almost reminds me of Slash's Derrig Les Paul, color wise and figure wise. Plays and sounds great, very cool neck. I am very impressed. Once I get used to it (played Les Pauls forever, and exclusively the last 2 years), it is going to be such a great guitar for me.

Another great guitar. Thanks BP!

Great top on that one. I'm an "ex" Les Paul user myself and pretty much only play an Axis these days. It took me all of about a week to get used to my Axis. Enjoy it.

That is a nice top! That was the first thing I thought looking at the pictures before reading your post- is it quilty-flame or flamey-quilt? Congratulations!:)

Ex LP player here as well. It took me about 5 mins to bond with my new Axis! I'm thinking about trading my Wolfgang for another Axis... why stop with one? Enjoy and never look back.

Thanks guys; getting used to the way it plays now and really liking it. Have to find the right sound with my amp, but it is a keeper.
