I have recently embarked on an acoustic duo with the lead singer from my old rock band. I've got great electric guitars (EBMM), but didn't have a decent acoustic.

I found a killer deal on acoustic that retailed new for about $1500. It was marked at $500. After playing it, I knew I had to have it.

The problem is with 3 kids, one of which is a new driver, I didn't have the cash to get it. I had to move quick on it, because it wouldn't last very long at that price.

My depression comes from the fact that I had to trade my Sub 1 to get the acoustic. While the Sub 1 was my "second guitar", and I still have my EVH, it was very hard to let it go.

If anyone is interested in where it is to buy it, PM me and I'll give you the details. I'd like for her to find a good home where she'll be appreciated.

For the longest time i wanted a Taylor but i'm allergic to something in the finish and my arms break out whenever i play them.

I'm looking for a new acoustic now too, my 70 Martin is such a dog. Not a good year for them.

I hate to see someone trade in there guitar to a store as you are going to take a loss as they are going to have to make a profit and the trade value is always a ripoff. You should of posted it up here first and maybe you would of had a chance of buying it back one day. Anyway good luck with the Acoustic.

Thanks. I would have posted it here, but at the price the acoustic was, it wouldn't have been there long. I made out really well on the trade. I got an Ovation Standard Elite LX 6778 for my Sub 1. From a strictly monetary point of view, it was a great deal. From a sentimental point of view, it was disappointing.

It's hanging up at Flores Music in Peoria right now, next to some very nice new EBMM guitars. There is one in particular that is very nice. It's a Ball Family Reserve Albert Lee in Dark Cherry Burst. It has a black pickguard with 3 MM90 pickups, and a piezo bridge. It also is sporting a Rosewood neck. I'm usually not a fan of the looks of the AL, but this one is beautiful.
