Both these are listed as Trans gold.
There was a thread a few days ago about the different colors Trans gold can be.
As I had two to look at I thought that I would share a pic.

roasted gold ;)

my trans red EVH is no longer trans red but more raspberry with time the color really gets darker

You would think the darker one would be older.

The two I owned, your old one and the Axis on the MM website, I think are the most common TG.

Interesting. So does this mean I can expect my trans emerald green JP6 BFR to change color as time passes?

Anyway, yes I know for a fact that the quilt top trans gold one (that looks orange) is stated as trans gold from customer service.
