Well, I haven't exactly been honest around here lately...
Over a month ago I walked into a local shop and looked up at the wall of EBMMs. Same few JPs, a new natty Reflex, a NOS 25th...
The sales clerk says, "Yeah, but did you see what we just unboxed?" Points down to a stand in front of me.

Oh boy. I was the first to pick it up.
Plugged it into a dual rec... and pulled out the credit card.
Now I've never even played a BFR because I've never been to a shop with one, but I've had a pair of JPs now... and wow, this thing is an entirely different beast. Incomparable in many ways.
But easily the best guitar I've ever played.

The setup was spot on, too. I assume this is because it was fresh out of the box.
Chambering is amazing. Fretboard is superb. The fit and finish are the best I have ever, ever, ever seen on an instrument. The thing is built like a tank but light as a feather. It looks like a battle axe from the future.
Piezo sounds better than any I've heard. The pickups sound much more well-rounded in this than they do in my Dargie II.
I'm not the biggest fan of the finish or especially the painted neck, but these are just personal preferences.
Again, a congratulations for a job well done to BP, the entire EBMM team of designers and employees, and JP. This thing is absolutely unbelievable.
