Well, I never meant to buy an EBMM (ohh poor me), but I started to get really deep into Dream Theater music, and then I realize that I wanted that beautiful Graphite Pearl and gorgeous guitar that JP was using during TOT, so I started to look for a local dealer, and they had 2 JPs left, a JP6 Red Lava, and a JP6 standard Black. So I waited 2 weeks to get the Red Lava one while I get some more money, finally when I get to the store, they told me that they SOLD IT   !!!!!!!!!! And that I needed to wait at least 8 weeks to get another one. Buuuuuut this other guy from the same store told the other salesman, “I think we have one more left in another local store…”, I passed out!, I asked which one it was and the salesman told me, “ I guess is a Mystic Dream, but I’m not sure…”, so I ran directly to the store and my surprise was that it was my always-wanted JP7 Graphite Pearl , right there waiting for me, and when I saw it, it was like looking at heaven!!!, they putted inside the case, and when he gave it to me, I fell in love of that JP7, that smell that gives brand new stuff, is priceless, and speechless of course when is about an EBMM guitar. The funny thing it was that I needed to go work so I went to my house, left it, and waited like dumb for 8 hours to get home again, after then I played 7 hours straight, so that was my first experience with my EBMM guitar. How was yours?

I went into a guitar store just for fun and the guy behind the desk suggested I try an Axis they bought a while back...let's just say 4 hours later I walked out determined to save my money to purchase one.
It's been a year and I'm finally paying off an ASS I put on layaway..and let's just say that I can't wait until I've made the final installment and can take it home ^^

First experience was with a JP6 in pearl redburst. No matching headstock, piezo or inlays. Just the basic basic model. When I touched it for the first time I knew that it was for me. I had to get one. And I am getting one. Finally. Not payed yet, but I know it's coming this year. The holy grail of guitars.

My first Ball was no big deal at the time. It was like guitar #45.

I came home and put it on my stand beside my TV and just stared at its beauty.

Texas Finally!
My first experience was when I wanted a guitar that was HSS with EMG pickups, did not do any internet searching just figured someone had to make one, so on Nw Years Eve 2006 I go to one of my local GC's and way up on the wall is a Carbon Blue Pearl Luke, i ask the salesman to pull it down and well an hour later its in the car on its way home with me, and that is what created the CFB:eek::D Since then I have bought and sold many EBMM's I have owned just about every model since then:) Been a fun trip:cool:

I currently have 6 and one being built, well have 8 if you include the 2 I am selling:)

Sorry to give the wrong impression. I have never owned more than 2 at a time.

I worked it out the other day after posting 30+ in another thread.

I’m pretty sure my purchase last month was #49.

Kinda Fing like, but one at a time.
