Question JP6/JP7 Sparkley Purple?

Hi guys, i'm new to this forum and just wanted to ask a question.

I have for years been using ESP guitars and recently tried both a JP6 and 7 and absolutely loved them.

But my question is this, is it possible to get both the JP6 and JP7 with the JPX Purple colour?

What I think you are asking is if the JPX color is available on the standard models.
Unfortunately, that is a no at the moment. We can only hope!

I really want the JP6/7 in that bloody purple. Its gorgeous!!!!

The JP6/7 in that color is called the JPX - it celebrates Petrucci's 10 years with EBMM. It's a great guitar and in my opinion is the best Petrucci model guitar. You should be able to get one at Guitar Center or other fine retailers.

I don't think you understand. I want the ORIGINAL JP6 in the Sparkly Purple. I do not want the JPX version of the guitar.

What about sourcing a beat up JP6, and having it tidied up with a pro repsray in a similar colour to the official Barolo colour. Would look awesome; undeniably unique.

Of course, finding a beat up JP6 may be no easy task.

Your best bet would be to just get a Mystic Dream JP from the originals. It HAS purple in it, but it isn't quite the same.

I would guess that would be a no, but there are a lot of cool colors offered in a JP that I would think you would like.

I personally think the JPX would look amazing with chrome hardware... It's the only think keeping me from REALLY REALLY REALLY wanting one... I like the black hardware, but it's just TOO metal for me even - LOL

I agree - I would much prefer the JPX with the standard chrome hardware. We just have to remember that these guitars are made to John's specs, not ours. We just get the privilege of being able to buy them...
