Hi Guys..sorry not been on here for a while..been really busy with filming new Lick Library DVD's....I have just completed Learn To Play Van Halen Vol 2, which feature 5 classic tracks from the Roth era....I used a selection of my EBMM Guitars, including my old faithfull beat up Axis Supersport, my original EVHmodel, plus my new baby...a stunning blue highly quilted top Axis, with a floyd...yes you heard correct I am using a Floyd guitar again..and love it!!...Have only just finished the DVD, but will keep you posted as to when its available, plus I will post the usual Youtube over view when its complete..

Also I am taking on new students for Skype lessons if any of you are interested...have had a great response, and already have quite a few students...mainly from USA and Australia as well which is so so cool!!..please email me at [email protected] for details as I check that more than I get on the forums...

Just as a teaser...I cant remember if i posted this yet..but if I have already here it is again...here is the over view of my new Dave Gilmour solo's DVD...once again I used a selection of my EBMM guitars to nail the tones....hope you enjoy...Jamie

Nice one Jamie.
I'll check out the EVH DVD's when they are out.

You gonna be at "Guitar Nation, Olympia" in November?

I think I will come up to it..I was originally going to be doing something for Musicman, but the show keeps changing so I am not goin to be performing..plus I would have just got back from a European tour...But yeah I will pop up one day and be with the Musicman guys...hope to see you there..Jamie

Awesome as usual Jamie and looking forward to the new VH DVD. I think you guys have more talent crammed into that Library than anywhere on the planet. Funny that it was the first guitar site I found on the web and it is still my favorite. That was so long ago the Bull had hair.lol

Yea Mike was asking me about my Skype setup...I have it really good...I use an HD cam, and wear a clip mic, plus guitars and vocal mic run via a mixer, so audio quality is very god..My cam also has room, plus one thing I have that Mike doesnt is I have written so many books and courses that I supply PDFs of course notes, plus mp3 backing tracks..so yea competition is strong, but I do offer a top service....and yea i will be there to have a beer with Pete

Sounds great Jamie, might have to try a few lessons with you too and see all that technology in action.
Ive invested in the blackstar series one 200 recently and its an amazing amplifier, full of so many diverse tones and options to play my balls through it.

Just wondering how your getting on with it in your rig,i assume youve played lots of gigs wit it already and probably toured with it?
I havent gigged mine yet as im forming a new band at the moment and am hoping to get to gig it in the nxt few months.

Hi Colin..I havent done too much work with my rack lately...I just got a series one 200 a few weeks back..I love it!!...I have been doing some little pub gigs with that and a 2x12...all i use effects wise were 2 boss delays in the loop and an EVH wah...I was using my EBMM EVH model down to eb...it made the drummers head vibrate!!..on my next tour in October I will be using 2 Artisan 30 combos...Jamie

Awesome Jamie! Always dig your stuff. I'm actually most likely spending 1/2 a year or so in South Korea to teach English and maybe a little guitar on the side starting in July/August.

With that in mind I might inquire about some lessons to build my chops, a bit far away, but hope it pulls through. I'm a big Lick Library user and love all your work there! Thanks a ton Jamie!

Nice, great Gilmour tones need to pick that up really into him right now:cool:

Keith,
I've been a Lick Library member for about 4 years and they have great stuff there.

I have Jamie's Pink Floyd DVD's 1 & 2 as well as his Slow Blues Gilmour DVD... great stuff. You really should check it out. They have a new membership category where you get 3 DVD's every 6 months when you renew your membership. You can't beat it.

Keith,
I'm far from calling myself a guitar player, but these DVD's have helped a lot. I have about a dozen of them. My favorite "teachers" are Jamie, Danny Gill and Mike Casswell. I grab one of the three depending on my mood that day.
