Can anybody let me know if the double neck silo is well balanced or neck heavy at all? How much does one weigh?

I'm also wondering if it has the mahogany tone blocks?

Thanks!

I sold one not that long ago, I was surprised at how light it was. Having said that I wouldn't do a whole gig with one

Thanks Colin,

Did you try it with a strap? I'm just wondering if it wants to neck dive.

I've got one :)

No neck dive at all, I've actually got teles that are harder to play than this thing, it's that well balanced.

I'm pretty short and slim build... So I initially hesitated gigging it too much. But, both Colin and Dizzy had asked about it recently so i decided to man-up and put it in gig rotation :D

I've done full gigs with it and while i pulled up sore, it was only a fraction worse than playing a Les all night. I now dig it out half way through the last set or during the encore... haha words can't describe the reactions or how much I enjoy playing it :p

That sounds like a prescription from the doc himself.

Now I think I'm getting one, darn!

I promised browndog some pics 1-2 months ago...
I'm a terrible person and haven't even arranged a photobucket account yet

I also used it on an album going into mix down mid july, we'll work to get it mastered asap and... after that...
I assure I will post a tidy little package of pics and tunes when it's ready for the unveiling :)
