Hi all,

does anybody know if this product (DUNLOP CARNUBA WAX) can be use in place of Birchwood Casey gunstock wax for EBMM unfinished necks care? I'm asking because Birchwood Casey stuff can't be shipped to Europe from, like, Amazon.com.

Thanks.

yes, the neck. It will work on the fretboard as well... I use it on the Maple Necked Axis and the Rosewood HHAL and it works amazingly well.

Note: it only works on necks without a hard lacquer finish. No BFR JP's, No Fenders, No Gibsons... but all "normal" Ernie Ball guitars, like your LUKE should be fine.

Most places won't ship the Birchwood Casey stuff because it's able to spontaneously combust, regardless of how it actually does.

So yeah, be careful with it. Don't leave the rags you use wadded up in the garbage. :D

I use them when I change strings. Just wipe on and wipe off - nothing too complicated about it. Make sure all the "oil" is thoroughly removed and then restring.
Jobs a good 'un!

I know how to use it on the fretboard-my question is if I can use it to clean the unfinished neck.Cheers.
