Hey guys!
This is my first post here, and what a better way to break the ice than with a NGD?!

Just got this today, and man its an amazing guitar!!
Absolutely gorgeous and of course being a BFR JP7 it plays and sounds amazing (especially with the Crunchlab/Liquifire combo, some of the best pups dimarzio has ever made imo!)
However this one doesnt suffer from the one problem BFR guitars have (in my opinion) and that is the painted neck.
This is oiled rosewood, and the rosewood makes it even better, it has this deep almost evil timbre to it that the maple necked guitars dont have and yet it is just as clear and has so much attack. I dont know if that is just the neck or what, but i love it!!
Anyways enough talk, here are pics:

oh and since this is the ebmm forum i might as well let you guys know about this one:
When i get back from that tour i should have a very special guitar arriving shortly after!
Its an Island Burst Koa BFR JP7 with a Rosewood neck! Super excited for that one!

What a stunning, STUNNING axe, and I generally don't like ruby red. Can't wait to see that koa.

I love Periphery, favorite songs are The Walk and Buttersnips.

Wow! I love Periphery. I think you had a JP in Mystic Dream didn't you?

Still do! Its the guitar i used to track the 7 string songs on our album. I have had that guitar for a LOOONG time now!
And i also have a matching 6 string version too!
(Both fully loaded and the original version with the custom dimarzios)

Oh and thanks a lot guys for the warm welcome!

Hey, u talkin to me? NY
Wow! Welcome and that's one amazing guitar you've got there, congrats! Was the word " Rare " used yet? This guitar and the Koa that you're about to get have to be special order one-offs, correct? I guess that artists can still get new RW necked balls:cool:
