Well first of all before I go any further, I need to give credit to Sterling Ball, Dudley Gimpel and the rest of the designing team for this excellent bass, right out of the box, and without any of the people in the shop touching it, (they wanted to give it a setup but said: no no no!) it plays like a dream, beautiful neck and such a punchy sound... but I will give the full review after I take a nap as I am exhausted from the night work.

Also thanks to Jack Williams for the worthy recommendation on this monster.

Just one quick note for Jack's attention, I have put the BA5SSS on the digital scale and this one is a light one! 9.12lbs / 4.42Kgs !!

I THINK mine was 9 lbs 6 oz, somewhere around there. Nice medium weight, esp good for a fiver with a big electronics package.

I am just curious. What do you do with all your bass guitars? Not that you need to justify the purchase, because even just to look at them as works of art is reason enough for me. But you have quite a few very nice basses.
