Nice.

Although you had me sat waiting on the solo!

Thanks for that Rob, I remember going through quite a phase listening to Rodney.

EVH; switch nearer the neck (though I suspect ye knew!).

So, Rob, you've got me reachin' back to tracks from his Jewel Of The South album.

I've found some Hardtail Axis Sport action with the man himself; rare axe to see live:

Man, i'm now playing the "Please Remember Me" track, that was such a strong song. Beautiful.

Thats Kenny Vaughn on guitar and notice the hidden fiddle player turns out to be Vince Gill?
As some of you know Rodney Crowell is one of my dearest friends. we are nearly brothers I consider him to be one of the great American artists.

Here is a shot from a early little dinner benefitting Casey Lee Ball Foundation...circa 1995...Jay Graydon with an early EVH that we made for him with an ebony fretboard...Rodneys wife Claudia Church, John Ferraro, and Jimmy Cox...

One of the many number one hits he wrote was Please Remember Me....Keith Urban made it a hit. Rodney Sang it at Brian Balls wedding....(Steve Morse played Highland wedding on classical as Brian and His wife Shelly walked down the Isle....) Here he is with brian and luke the day after the wedding

Jack and Ben will recall the concert he did for the CLB Actually two concerts one in my living room and the other at the banquet....

I really love that track, just fantastic.

I have a great Tim McGraw version from '99, but the original just fills me up every time.

Was fortunate enough to see Rodney back in '95 on "New American Music Tour" in the UK, with the Hot Band. If memory serves me, Albert played on that tour too! I was only 21, and mad for country music. Good times.

Now, how great to have it sung, in person, at the wedding; very cool indeed.

I take it that is the same black sport above that you are jammin' on?

Just awesome pics, many thanks for sharing.

I remember seeing him in the '90s with the EVH when I got mine and was playing blues with it. I always thought he was a kindred spirit! Cool info, thanks for sharing BP.

Great stories and pics Sterling, and it is just amazing the relationships you have with the artist that are involved in the company. As I can attest that one of the hardest things is being in business with friends. Even though you get a bit cranky sometimes on here lol I can tell that if you are someone's friend you are a true friend, and it seems like one big extended family over there.

Thanks for those pics and stories BP, so great to read. Ive also noticed that this place has a change of air over the past few months, not liked it at all. Too many silly threads bordering on Harmony Central type stuff ( but obviously not as bad!), that cater for the newbie type members.

Sitting in that living room with that group of people is something I will never forget. Rodney is beyond amazing and tells some pretty funny stories about his past!
