OT: pedalboard help

Im happy with my setup, im just not pyched about the way i have to carry the cables... with a pedaltrain, where does one keep their 20 foot cables?

What about a D.I.Y pedalboard ?
It is easy to build one and you can choose exactly the size you need.
A good way to spend your time ...

DIYs are great, i did that for many years untill the rig i wanted wired was too much for my brain to handle alone, now that ive spent the money, id rather not chuck it all away...

If I had to do it over again, I'd go with a Pedaltrain PT-Pro. I'm happy with my custom Anvil/Calzone pedalboard case, though.

Just sold my PT-Pro. Doh.

ANyways back on topic.

Pedaltrain is the way to go. It gives you the mounting brackets for the VL Pedal power 2+ (which is pretty standard) and is the sturdiest, no nonsense simplicity required for a durable pedal board.

They are slightly on the pricey side, but there is a valid reason why so many use it. It's a fabulous product. And my recommendation would have to go there.

Softshell cases/carrying bags for the board have an extra compartment on top of the bag to carry all your cables. I've been doing that for a while now.

If you decide to customize your own ATA case around it, make it a bit taller and keep your cables with your board.

i make my own boards... have been doing so for a while now because i couldn't ever find a board that fit my needs at the time...
