Your reaction to how the JPX sounds thru your rig reminds me of why I walked out of GC with one... just melted my face when I plugged it in!!

My jpx is my guitar soul mate.. melted my face is a great way to describe the guitar. I set mine up with 4 springs. The string height is 1 mm over at the 12th 1-6 with regular Slinky's. Unimaginable action and sound. Word: Majestic!

Can't dare how your JPX should sounds through my boogie :p

I would like to try that amp.. The only Mesa I played thru was a 5:50. I didn't like it.. its not a boogie.
When I get some loose cash it will happen. I've had my eye on a Roadster.. It sure would be a hot setup.
The Marshall paired with the Boogie lends itself to may possibilities.

Yes I have ever played on all the Boogies in different stores, and I definetly prefer the Mark V (that's why I buy it!). I don't like the 5:50 neither... too bluesy for me.
I played once through a Roadster, really really huge moment in my life :p. For me, Mark series are the best, but Roadster is quite awesome too !

There are some deals out there on the JSX amps.. I haven't played thru one yet. Sound clips on You Tube are good and Bad.. Have you played thru a JSX? Has anyone out there played thru one?
I heard JS was leaving Peavey and going to Marshall?

I have ever played on a JSX and I don't like them. They sound too 'fat' for me. The distorsion is not as precise as the crunch sound from a Boogie.
