Question Red Bongo Question?

To the Group -

A few months ago, someone posted a family picture of two gorgeous EBMM's -- a Red Bongo and a 25th Anniversary. IIRC, the Bongo had a red shell pickguard.

I've tried every trick in the book to find that thread and have come up wiith nothing. If anyone can assist me in finding it, I'd sure appreciate it!

The photo I'm thinking of had two basses in a home setting. Each was on a stand and they were side-by-side. One was a 25th Anniversary and one was a Bongo. Again, both were red and I believe that the Bongo had a shell pickguard.

Don't know about the red with shell but I do know there are some Rolls Burgandy with Shell shots floating around.

That red Bongo is beautiful!

I believe that color is Cabernet Pearl and not red, I'm going by the Perfect Bass pics which are similar to the ones from my cab prl bfr.
