Since the maple neck on my ASS was showing the dirt (as usual) I tried out a Wonder Wipe to clean it....worked very well and the neck felt good. Before I put the strings back on I made a few changes

I make no claims for originality....I've seen something similar on here. I really like the new look......for me it draws attention away from the wavy front which is the bit I've always liked least about the guitar.....and of course it would take 5 minutes to put it back the way it ws

Wow, chrome covers... that's a relief - for one moment I thought you had converted it to a lefty :D

Looks real nice. Something about the look of the MM90 pups that makes it look more aggressive.. like putting big wheels on a motor;)

How do they attach ? Is it adhesive strip or pup removal needed

Like the knobs too... they really finish it off

cheers

Unscrewed the pickups, removed the cream covers, put on the chrome ones, screwed them back in.....30 seconds each

That's a great quick fix to freshen up yr guitar. Keeps it interesting and when that becomes too familiar you can change back... I like it

Nice job !

It's always nice to add a personal touch. I also changed the knobs of my ASS because the original ones were a bit small for swell effects and I found some new knobs that have a sort of tobacco burst color like my ASS.

Hey Andy nice one!

I could always spray the body white for you if you don't like the top?;)

Hmmmm....might take you up on that Spud....a plain white one with black pickups would be cool.

Used to know a guy (MP designs) who did custom painting...got a leopardskin Epiphone & a blue sunburst Warmoth with a blonde girl done by him,. Fortunately (for the guitar) he appears to be out of business....or I would probably have had it resprayed by now.
