Yep - it's true. 2 blue balls in 2 days. Man. Am I nuts? I don't think so! And if I am - I wanna be!!! :D

So here's the deal. The short version. A while ago I had to unload a bunch of gear, including all my balls. When things turned around for me, I ordered a CS Tele - I thought that was really gonna do it for me. Man I tried so hard to love that guitar. In the mean time I also got a stupid deal on a Sonic Blue CS strat - so I bought it when I was waiting for the Tele to arrive. Truth is, I really really dug that strat! And still do.

After the Tele arrived I tried and tried and tried to make it THE one. Just didn't happen. And all the while I kept peeking in here to see what was going on. Yeah - I was missing my EBMMs more and more all the time. Thing was, I couldn't decide what I was missed most - my Axis or my AL - so I did the only smart thing a person can do in these circumstances. I sold my CS Tele and bought them both! ;)

Yesterday I unveiled my new HH AL - today - my Axis arrived (purchased from a forum member who did me a favor on the pricing and shipping - Matt you rule!!!). I set her up to my liking, and while I'm waiting 24 hours for the strings to stretch (a story for another time), I thought I'd fill you in. Whew. That was a fairly condensed 3-4 year stretch! :D

So here it is - and I'm back to stay this time!

Enjoy them all the more now you know how great EBMMs really are - and happy you are back (although you actually never were away, it was just a small 3-4 years vacation).

Greg, what a way to come back to the forum, congrats!

Thanks Pete! I swear to god, one of these days I will follow through on buying a guitar from you! :D. These two happened to come up with the right colors and options at the exact right time and at the exact right prices. Next time, I AM coming your way. PROMISE!

No worries! It wasn't you who called me about buying a Martin 2 weeks ago, was it? I know they said they were from the forum but I can't for the life of me remember who it was and I just had a sweet '69 D-35 (Brazilian RW) come in.

I'm glad she arrived OK. That is a very special guitar. She's pretty, but when you plug her in......wow. let's just say that BP, Dudley, Drew, and the rest of the SLO crew are VERY good at what they do. Go Play That Thing!
