I was have 2 question on the jp50 model by sterling. The first one is if I upgraded the pick to the liquid fire and cruch lab set, how could I coil tap them? The second question is does any know the quality of the tremolo and could it be replaced?

to get true coil tapping you'll need to install a push/pull pot.

the stock switch will not yield true coil tapping.

in the center position the sound changes to more single coil type sound, but with more volume.

not many people have replaced the trem bridge. My personal JP50 the bridge has been solid and no tuning issues. I use a little nut sauce in the nut slots and the trem stays in tune.

The trem is sweet on the JP50!

I think I might buy a second one in stealth!

What kind of push pull pot should I get. I think dimarzio makes some do they also double as a volume nob? I wanted to get the liquid fore and crunch set.. how should I set it up?
