Killer Albert Lee Interview-October VG

A really great interview with Albert Lee who graces the cover of the October issue of Vintage Guitar. I just finished reading it and it is chock full of great stories and some really informative info on his gear- Sterling built me this ,Sterling built me that.lol ALs with B-Benders,10- 130 watt MM heads, yes it is great to be a legend. All jokes aside I do not want to give much of the interview away but it is a must read,and you can tell how close he and BP are as he might as well have been sitting next to him as half the interview revolves around him and everything Balls.lol Also great pics of some of his guitar collection and him and Morse on stage in the early 80s, as well as a nice big add for the Reflex on page 5. Go grab an issue!

Yep, when I got that issue in the mail it brought a BIG smile to my face!

Not only do I admire Albert as a player, I aspire to someday have as calm and gentlemanly manner as he does.

I guess because it was Vintage Guitar they had him hold that that Gibson-ES 295 on the cover (I had to look that up in his collection as I had no idea what it was,lol)but he got three pictures of his AL in there. Was cool to know he has a B-Bender in one of his main ALs besides a lot of cool other things he said.Just a total great read.

I think he's using the AL with the B bender during the interview segments of the "Country Legends" DVD. Does some really cool licks with it....of course.

I just had to get the DVD out and play it - and yeah you're spot on - nice licks and a lovely tiger stripe on the neck of ol' pinky!!!

I wonder if he still has that one?
