So has anyone seen this kid from south korea named Sungha jung on youtube?

Cant be more than 13, been playing like 4 years and he's already got an enormous catalog of songs that he plays much better than i could ever play.

Just phenomenal!

Kids these days are freaks. There's no denying it. I saw a 9-year-old playing some Virgil Donati song on drums over at the MP forum. Absolutely insane.

Hey guys, just a note: don't be so quick to think that certain people learn guitar very well in just a few years. It doesn't happen know matter what they say!!

It is in EXACT proportion to how many hours and how you practice.

Look at Steve Morse, JP, Luke, et al. Now, if someone can play like them - how long do you think JP and the rest have played to get to where they are at?? Decades!

In addition, a 13 yr old can conceivably have played 6-8 straight years consistently.

I have seen many kids on you tube who have a gift. The bottom line and I heard Steve Morse say this is that some people are just born with more God given talent than others. Some guys really have to work really hard and to a small few it just comes very easy. Look at anything in this world, lets take the fastest guy on the planet. You can get up and run for the next ten years but it aint going to happen.lol God given talent!

He does play it. But also terrific arrangements of plenty of other popular tunes as well as some more obscure but nonetheless challenging and beautiful pieces.
