Oh, yeah!

Now we're talkin', ...amazing collection indeed!

What's that "thing" in upper left corner?

Looks fantastic!

Holy! Wow!
That's the most amazing photo I've seen - well done!
On looks, I'd be grabbing those Black/Ebony Rays above all else.
I'm the opposite w/headstocks non-matching but they do look great.

My wall-o-doom pic is a little dated . . . String Swings into dry wall using the drywall anchors - several years and no issues w/9-11lb basses.

Oli... had to get on the Wife's Mac to get the picture to show up but well worth it. Very nice collection. I have always been interested in the NAMM Stingray. Maybe one day! JOSH

Suh-weet! I've always wanted to see your whole collection... and I know there are more...

...but there will be less... ;)

The fretless black twin w ebony boards is my personal favorite though. Do the twins have hog bodies?

Yup. Specs are: STB bridge, mahagony body, ebony fretboard on both. That's what my dream spec for a fretless StingRay was, but I couldn't pass the opportunity to get them twins. Turned out to be a good move... the fretted has so much authority, it has become The Bass By Which All Other Basses Are Judged. :D

Thanks! The funny thing is: I've always wanted a 'Ray with a maple board and non matching headstock. However, I love those limited editions and special colours which often look better or are only available with a rosewood board. And with a rosewood board, I prefer a matching headstock. That 20th SR5 is another of those "accidents"...

Oh, and I have the impression that your wall has become more crowded over time as well :)

BTW, I'll report back on how good the hangers are staying put. I had to fasten the screws on the first ones after two weeks. Will do another check next weekend.

You just have to have the proper bait, and I'll be willing to swap ;)

Great pic!

I also use the Hercules hangers, but I have them screwed into a long piece of timber that I then screw to the wall joists. It's an outdated pic, but you get the idea ....

That is an awesome pic Oli! I really wish you lived in the US. I would love to talk to you about your 100th. Good luck with the trade.

That is an outstanding, amazing, fantastic, beautiful, moving, awe inspiring collection. You have impeccable taste. I literally was speechless (or the type-written internet equivalent) when I saw the picture earlier today, but WOW brother... many many congrats on assembling such a beautiful and exotic harem of basses.

I too have wondered about the full extent of your "Stingray Collection Essentials" and I am not dissappointed in the least. Da-yum! :D

Such a beautiful photo but something bothers me . . . I really think the dual humbuckers should all be on the top row and the single humbuckers on the bottom row . . . that just makes stupid sense to me.

Oli - please re-arrange and post another photo . . . for me.

j/k :p

Thanks everybody for your kind comments and also for your wall pics! Keep 'em coming! :D

I would, if I wouldn't need to move furniture to have the proper angle to take the pic!

BTW, for those interested in starting your own wall: I decided to use a grid of 60cm (square) for the positions of the hangers. I'd never have expected that a perfect square works, but 60cm turned out to be the nicest distance in both directions.

Also, you must have a pretty friggin' sweet camera - it all looks almost too good!

I'd be interested to see a picture of the whole room really, just out of interest, as that wall must be pretty damn big!

I would say it's anniversary models across the top (chronological maybe but I'm not exactly sure about the dates on a couple) andassorted special runs/rare ones on the bottom... I'm guessing!
